I can’t believe I didn’t post this sooner, but a friend made my dream of having a forever-lasting sweet potato come true earlier this year! It’s of my absolute favorite kind, so you can see where she got her name from (Okinawa).

And no, I am not biased towards this place just because they have sweet potato smoothie. Their sweet potato smoothie actually tastes just like the ones I make at home hehe ^__^
I like how big their menu is and that they provide pictures of almost everything on their website. Not only can you order drinks such as milk tea, iced tea, coffee, and smoothies, but you can also get frozen yogurt, shaved ice, and shaved snow! I have yet to try their desserts, but one thing I can tell you for sure is that their drinks are consistently good. I guarantee you’ll find something you’ll like here!
Kiraku, an izakaya located in Berkeley, literally means ‘to relax.’ As its name suggests, this Japanese tapas restaurant provides a casual place for people to come and relax after a long day with a wide range of food and drinks.
You can find them everywhere!! Literally. Everywhere. And I love it ohhh man, do I love it. Even reading the word “sweet potato” on a menu makes me happy, so I was ecstatic to see it in so many places in Seoul!

is that I loooove sweet potatoes! If I were to choose only one food to have for the rest of my life, it would be sweet potatoes without a doubt (sushi comes in a close second, though). I can eat them hot or cold, with the skin on or off, and in any shape or form. Not only are they versatile and taste amazing, but they are healthy too! Benefits include:
Vitamin A, which strengthens the body’s immune system and keeps skin healthy.
Vitamin B6, which fights against homocysteine, a chemical that has been linked to degenerative diseases. B6 plays an important role for proper nerve function as well.
Vitamin C, which ensures healthy bone and tooth formation. It also helps with digestion, heals wounds, produces collagen, lowers stress levels, and protects the body against cancer-related toxins.
