Finally got to try something from this place while at Coachella! I present to you.. (*cue drumroll) PORK BELLY CHIPS.
AKA DEEP FRIED PORK BELLY!! Fattening, yes, but pretty darn good.
These little morsels of pork were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They were like well cooked samgyupsal but seasoned with sweet onion sugar, and were the perfect accompaniment to beer! The tabasco aioli also suited them quite well. Although it was one of my favorite foods from the weekend, it would’ve been better if the pieces were more meaty (over half of the pieces were made up of fat..!). Even so, it was good enough to make me wanna go to their actual location to try more of their stuff. So get yourself some greasy goodness NAO! Because I know I sure will the next time I get a chance.
